Chrysanthemum Care Guide

Unpacking Your Plants

As soon as your chrysanthemums arrive, unpack them promptly. They might look a bit disheveled from their journey, but with a bit of care, they’ll quickly recover.

Initial Care

Water the plants upon arrival and place them in a warm, partially shaded area in your garden or greenhouse. Gradually introduce them to full sun over the course of a week. If you're still experiencing frosts or very cold weather, protect the plants from frost, as it can be fatal at this stage.

Planting

Once the risk of frost has passed and the plants have acclimated, you can transfer them to your garden. Choose a spot with well-drained soil and mix in some organic matter before planting.

Support

Chrysanthemums have heavy flower heads, so staking is essential. We recommend using metal stakes for the best support.

Feeding

To encourage healthy growth, fertilize your chrysanthemums occasionally as autumn approaches.

Happy Growing!
