Bupleurum grows up to 2m in height. Makes for an excellent filler in flower arrangements.
Hardy Annual
Planting: Can be sown direct into your garden bed or can be started in trays in well draining seed starting mix in a cool spot. Bupleurum requires darkness to germinate.
Tip: Sow seeds in pots and placed in 50cm cell trays, but don't cover with soil. Stack another tray on top for darkness. Keep trays in a cool place like under a water tank on concrete. After about 10 days of germination, remove the top tray and move to a shaded area for further growth before planting outdoors.
Space 30cm apart.
Germination: 10 - 21 days (13-16 degrees c)
Plants requires some support.
